Our Story

Saskatoon Physiotherapy is locally owned and operated. The current direction of Saskatoon Physiotherapy has been managed by Ben Vuong since 2003. We offer a unique experience like no other. Our environment is relaxed, friendly, personable and approachable. These are the strengths voiced again and again by patients past and present. We schedule by the week and monitor your progress. Our patients enjoy their treatments without the hassle of “set” treatment times. Most often, we provide a lengthy stay based on your needs and illness.

Together, we will work with you in achieving your goals of health and wellness.

Ben Vuong

Takes pride in building rapport

Ben Vuong is a Saskatonian of refugee roots. His family emigrated during the late 1970’s displaced by the Vietnam War. He was educated in our public schools (Westmount, Lester B Pearson and Mount Royal Collegiate) and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan (don’t ask what year). He has been practicing physiotherapy since 2000 and provides the physiotherapy via manual therapy at this clinic. He prides himself on the rapport he’s established with his patients.

Larissa Rettger

Certified Exercise Physiologist

Larissa Rettger is a true Saskatoonian! Having lived her entire life in our beautiful city, Larissa Rettger graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Kinesiology (BScKIN), 2014. She is a Certified Exercise Physiologist, accredited through Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP-CEP). An integral part of Saskatoon Physiotherapy, she practices her Kinesiology while monitoring the daily activities of the clinic. She can be seen running around the clinic performing many important tests and correcting the scheduling errors of the Physio.

An avid runner in her spare time, she once held the title of the Fastest Half Marathoner in Saskatoon! Along side her passion for health and fitness, Larissa is a talented Hold’em and Magic the Gathering player. She is also a lover of Science Fiction and Super Hero movies. We are very proud to have this Super Hero practicing here!
